Aimpoint Pty Ltd is an Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO and Group Training Organisation (GTO) delivering high-quality education and workforce capability development across Defence, business, leadership, project management and technical industries.

We deliver training to students across Australia and shortly looking to commence internationally, specialising in practical, industry-aligned learning with a strong focus on trainer professionalism, learner support, quality and compliance with the Australia qualification standards (ASQA).

We are now seeking a highly capable trainer to join our newly formed international team who will help us ensure we deliver the highest quality and compliant training to our local market and potentially expand this offering into Asia.

Position Overview

This position is offered initially as a part-time role (1 to 2 days per week with a minimum of 8 hours per week) as a trial period (6 months) to assess capability, delivery quality, and learner outcomes. If successful, the role may transition into a full-time trainer position to support Aimpoint's expanding training delivery across Australia and the Philippines.

The trainer will primarily deliver virtual training sessions to Australian students, with opportunities for in-person delivery to Philippine-based students as Aimpoint's presence in the Philippines grows.

The role also involves supporting and managing online self-paced learners through Aimpoint's Learning Management System (LMS), including marking assessments, providing feedback, and monitoring progress.

If transitioned to full-time, the candidate will be required toreport to an Aimpoint Philippines office once formally established.

Given the compliance requirements in Australia for trainers you will need to already have the Australian qualification TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or work under strict supervision of one of our trainers until you acquire this.

Key Responsibilities Training Delivery

Either under supervision or own your own depending on the attainment of Cert IV Training and Assessment Qualification, deliver high-quality virtual training to Australian students enrolled in:

• BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business
• BSB50120 Diploma of Business
• BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management
• BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management
• Short courses including Project Scheduling, Project Planning, Risk Management, Leadership Essentials and related topics.
• Facilitate live workshops, webinars, tutorials and learner support sessions.
• Deliver in-person training sessions to Philippine students as required.

Online Learner Management & Assessment

• Support and monitor self-paced learners through Aimpoint's LMS.
• Mark assessments promptly using competency-based principles and provide constructive written feedback.
• Respond to student queries and provide guidance to ensure continued learner progress.
• Track and report learner participation, progress, and completion status.
• Maintain accurate digital learner records and ensure assessment documentation meets RTO compliance requirements.

Assessment & Compliance

Either under supervision or own your own depending on the attainment of Cert IV Training and Assessment Qualification:

• Conduct assessment marking for virtual and online students in line with Australian VET (Vocational Education and Training) standards.
• Provide detailed feedback and coaching to support student competency.
• Participate in assessment moderation and validation processes.
• Ensure records of training and assessment are maintained to Aimpoint's compliance standards.

Learner Support

• Engage professionally with adult learners across varying levels of experience.
• Tailor communication and support to meet diverse learner needs.
• Create an inclusive and positive learning environment during both virtual and in-person sessions.

Training Development & Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to the improvement of training resources, lesson plans and assessment tools. This will include working with our training developer to improve the quality, compliance and satisfaction of the trainers.
• Participate in professional development activities to maintain current industry and VET knowledge.
• Provide insights to improve training operations in both Australia and the Philippines.

Required Qualifications & ExperienceEssential

• Minimum 10 years of relevant project management, business and leadership experience.
• A formal bachelor's degree in Project Management.
• Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver training both virtually and in-person.
• Strong digital literacy, including experience with:
• Video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet)
• Learning Management Systems
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience mentoring or coaching adult learners.

Highly Desirable

• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or willingness to obtain.

Aimpoint will support the right candidate to undertake this qualification.

• Experience delivering Australian qualifications or corporate training programs.
• Understanding of competency-based assessment principles.

Role Conditions

• Part-Time Hours: 2 days per week (approximately 16 hours but a minimum of 8 hours).
• Work Arrangement: Remote work during trial period.
• Remuneration: Competitive Philippine-based trainer salary (aligned to qualifications and experience).
• Future Pathway: Opportunity to progress to full-time employment if performance benchmarks are met.
• Full-Time Requirement: If converted to full-time, the trainer will be required to work from an Aimpoint Philippines office to be established in Cebu Manila or another agreed location.
