Senior Finance Officer

Schedule: On Site, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 5:30

Location: Kalayaan Avenue, Quezon City

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Finance Officer to play a critical role in managing our daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting and overall financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. This position reports directly to the Finance Manager/Director and will be essential in supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Analysis

  • Prepare and present accurate and timely daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports including, but not limited to:
  • Statement of Financial Position (Balance Sheet)
  • Statement of Comprehensive Income (Profit & Loss)
  • Cash Flow Statements
  • Budget vs. Actual Analysis
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and improved profitability.
  • Manage the preparation of management reports and executive summaries to support senior leadership.

Financial Management and Operations

  • Oversee and manage daily financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly and quarterly close processes according to established deadlines.
  • Monitor and manage the company's cash flow and working capital to ensure adequate liquidity.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial policies, internal controls, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Assist in the development of the annual operating budget and subsequent financial forecasts.
  • Monitor departmental expenses and work with department heads to maintain adherence to budget allocations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a finance or accounting role, with significant experience in financial reporting.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas).
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or IFRS.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php45, Php50,000.00 per month
