Job Title: Finance & Compliance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Finance & Compliance Manager to oversee our team of bookkeepers, ensure financial operations comply with internal and external standards, conduct financial analysis, and serve as the primary liaison with external stakeholders such as auditors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management

  • Supervise, train, and support a team of bookkeepers to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations prepared by bookkeepers.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Identify trends, variances, and areas for cost optimization on or revenue enhancement.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.

Compliance & Control

  • Ensure financial practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Coordinate and support audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.

External Liaison

  • Act as the primary contact for regulatory agencies, external associates, external auditors, tax advisors and banking institutions.
  • Provide necessary documentation and support for financial & government inspections or audits.
  • Maintain positive and professional relationships with external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Management, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance and knowledge of GAAP.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent leadership, communication on, organizational and negotiation skills
  • Experience working with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php40,000.00 per month
