About the role
We're looking for a passionate and empathetic Patient Care Representative to join our dynamic team at Manila Bankers Life Insurance Corp'. In this full-time position based in Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, you'll be the friendly voice that provides excellent customer service and support to our valued clients.
What you'll be doing
- Answering inbound calls from patients and customers, addressing their queries and concerns with professionalism and care
- Providing accurate information about our insurance products and services
- Assisting clients with policy-related inquiries and processing claims in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all customer interactions
- Identifying opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell relevant products to meet customer needs
- Escalating complex issues to the appropriate team members for resolution
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures and quality standards
What we're looking for
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a call centre or customer service-oriented role, preferably in the insurance or healthcare industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen actively and respond empathetically
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to handle a variety of inquiries and requests
- Proficiency in English and the local language, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with insurance products and terminology or a willingness to learn
- Adaptable and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a genuine desire to help others
