About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Draftsman with a strong background in technical drawings and project documentation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' drafting experience and must have worked on projects with Australian or New Zealand standards, codes, or clients.

You will play a key role in producing accurate and detailed drawings, ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations, and supporting our engineering/project teams in delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, and revise detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts.
  • Ensure all drafting work adheres to Australian/New Zealand standards and codes.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
  • Maintain drawing records, version control, and project documentation.
  • Provide input on design improvements and practical construction considerations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Draftsman in engineering, architecture, or construction projects.
  • Proven exposure to Australian or New Zealand projects (standards, codes, or client work).
  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD (essential).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work within deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have
  • Experience across [insert relevant industries, e.g., civil, structural, MEP, or architectural projects].
  • Knowledge of BIM processes and tools.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements in Australian/NZ building regulations.
