JOB PURPOSE:

The Distribution Specialist takes part in supervising and managing the warehouse activities to ensure productivity.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervises/monitors the warehouse activities particularly endorsement of goods to Transport Team.
  • Plans & monitors office and non-office manpower scheduling.
  • Ensures that all ECOMM, B&M, IS and MT orders processed by DC will be handed over to the Transport team based on specified lead times.
  • Ensures that all non-merchandise items processed by DC will be handed over to the Transport team based on specified lead times.
  • Approves DTR & OT of contractuals.
  • Approves HRIS, DTR & OT of office and non-office regulars.
  • Prepares the DC Daily Report.
  • Prepares the DC-GD non-office personnel man-hours report.
  • Prepares the UNGI'd report.
  • Oversees the dispatching activities for all B&M and IS stocks.
  • Prepares weekly & monthly dispatch performance reports of forwarders.
  • Coordinates with the Transport team and other departments the regular dispatch schedules in DC.
  • Monitors outbound orders in the system (WAMAS).
  • Prepares related reports as required.
  • Special projects/tasks.
  • Reports to the Goods Dispatch Manager any deviations in the processes and recommends remedial measures accordingly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Engineering (Industrial) or equivalent.
  • Can communicate effectively both verbal and written
  • Experience with handling high volume distribution with an emphasis on quality and accuracy.
  • Experience supervising or managing employees in a dynamic environment where coordination with other managers/employees is required.
  • Experience in managing the day-to-day responsibilities of employees and their adherence to policies, procedures and guidelines is required.
  • Experience in a high-volume distribution center is preferable
  • Must have strong planning, organizing and problem-solving skills
  • Computer literate.
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • 2-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Engineering - Industrial or equivalent
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Balintawak, Quezon City
