Summary Of Position:

The Sales & Marketing Officer is responsible for driving customer acquisition, loan growth, and brand awareness for the pawnshop through effective sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and excellent customer engagement. The role focuses on promoting Jewel pawnshop/Divine Jewels  products and services while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Sales & Customer Engagement

  • Promote pawnshop services such as pawn loans, renewals, redemptions, and auction sales.
  • Actively engage walk-in and repeat customers to increase transactions and customer loyalty.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products and services.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales and loan release targets.

Marketing & Promotions

  • Manages and oversee the day to day operations of the online platform.
  • Execute on-line strategy to boost our loan portfolio and sales volume.
  • Establish the work flow process, policies and procedures of ONLINE platforms of Divine Jewels

  • Ensures the design of the online adheres to the brand guidelines and directives by updating product content and images.

  • Recommends plan of action to increase revenue and profitability of the online/digital selling.

  • Implement in-store and field marketing activities (promos, partnerships, events).
  • Conduct community-based marketing to expand the customer base.
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback to management.

Customer Service & Relationship Building

  • Ensure excellent customer experience by handling inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Annual review/assessment how to educate store personnel effectively on customers loan terms, interest rates, and redemption policies clearly and ethically.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Plan an update inventory for the online sales platform
  • Ensure the smooth process of all online sales orders and coordinate with different accountable team members to ensure KPIs are achieved.
  • Prepare  weekly and/or monthly sales and marketing reports, depends on the BOD's mandate
  • Coordinate with branch staff, appraisers, and operations to support sales initiatives.
  • Assist in planning and executing branch-level campaigns and promotions.

Compliance & Risk Awareness

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, AMLA, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information at all times.
Educational Background & Experience
  • College graduate- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in sales or marketing; pawnshop or financial services experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Industry experience in retail or consumer goods is an advantage.
