Qualifications:

  • Prior Housekeeping or Hospitality Experience: Experience as a housekeeper, cleaner, or in a similar role is highly valued.
  • Supervisory Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.
  • Hospitality Management Education: A diploma or bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field can be beneficial for career advancement.

Skills:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Ability to motivate, train, and supervise a team of housekeeping staff.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to plan, schedule, and organize housekeeping tasks and staff schedules.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff, guests, and management.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high cleanliness standards and identify potential issues.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address and resolve issues that arise in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Knowledge of Cleaning Products and Techniques: Familiarity with various cleaning products, equipment, and techniques used in housekeeping.
  • Customer Service Skills: Ability to handle guest inquiries and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects as needed.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
