Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Safety Engineer/Safety Officer to join our team. As a Safety Engineer/Safety Officer, you'll be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment, identifying potential hazards, and implementing safety protocols to prevent accident and injuries

Key Responsibilities:

The Project HSSE Officer shall be responsible for the following:

  • Provide HSSE leadership and guidance to the Construction and HSSE Teams.
  • Serve as Secretary and regular member of the Project HSSE Committee.
  • Act as a primary liaison with the COMPANY and regulatory authorities on all HSSE-related matters.
  • Design, implement, and maintain the Project HSSE MP
  • Develop and implement job site HSSE policies to protect workers and the environment.
  • Conduct safety audits, daily work sites inspections, and SBO.
  • Monitor and enforce worker compliance with HSSE procedures at the worksite.
  • Review and approve Jog Hazard Analyses(JHAs) and Permit to Work (PTW) applications.
  • Lead or assist in incident investogations and manage the incident reporting system.
  • Analyze incident trends to identify areas for improvement
  • Maintain and report CONTRACTOR HSSE performance to the COMPANY and relevant authorities.
  • Collect, compile, and submit monthly HSSE performance statistics.
  • Stay updated on new health and safety laws and regulations.
  • Recommend and implement necessary changes to improve HSSE practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering or Related Field.
  • OSHA Certification or equivalent is proffered
  • Minimum 3 Years of experience in Safety Engineering and Safety Officer role.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, laws, and standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
