A Leading Talent Acquisition Company in Saudi Arabia is currently looking for a dedicated HSE Officer - On Shore to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The HSE Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the implementation of health, safety, and environmental practices that comply with relevant regulations and standards in the onshore operations.
The ideal candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of HSE methodologies and demonstrate a commitment to fostering a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain HSE policies and procedures to ensure high standards of health, safety, and environmental management in onshore operations.
 - Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend improvements.
 - Coordinate and organize HSE training sessions for employees to promote safety awareness and mitigate risks.
 - Report and investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine the root cause and prevent recurrence.
 - Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations and best practices.
 - Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to HSE activities, incidents, and inspections.
 - Work closely with site management to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
 - Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and procedures.
 - Perform other duties as assigned to support the effective functioning of the HSE department.
 
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
 - At least 5 years of HSE experience in onshore operations, preferably in the in the oil & gas EPC Companies
 - Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, standards, and best practices.
 - Proven experience in conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
 - Effective communication and leadership skills.
 - Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH)
 - Ability to develop and deliver HSE training and awareness programs.
 - Experience in incident investigation and reporting.
 - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 - Willingness to work on-site and travel as necessary.
 - Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
 - Knowledge of emergency preparedness and response initiatives.
