Health, Safety and Environmental Supervisor

  • Plan and implement OHS policies and programs, including but not limited to emergency and disaster and preparedness programs
  • Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics
  • Prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis
  • Adhere to all the rules and regulations
  • Work with HR to set up a new employee onboarding process for safety
  • Conduct risk assessments and enforce identified preventive measures
  • Evaluate compliance and OHS areas for improvements
  • Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes
  • Prepares and maintains government-compliant company policies, procedures, reports, and checklists in relation to health and safety.
  • Conduct safety meetings at least once a month and ensure issues are raised and addressed accordingly.
  • Oversee the overall management of the OSH program in coordination with the OSH Committee;
  • Frequently monitor and inspect any health or safety aspect of the operation being undertaken with the participation of supervisors and workers;
  • Assist government inspectors in the conduct of safety and health inspection at any time whenever work is being performed or during the conduct of an accident investigation by providing necessary information and OSH reports as required by the OSH standards;
  • Issue Work Stoppage Order (WSO) when necessary based on the requirements and procedures provided by the OSH Standards.
