About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join the finance team at R AND F MULTI SALE AND SERVICES CORPORATION'. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the company's financial records and reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This is a full-time position based in Makati City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  2. Manage the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  3. Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate any discrepancies
  4. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
  6. Provide support and guidance to the accounting team, as needed
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification (an advantage)
  3. Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the financial services industry
  4. Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  8. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
