Shopify Developer

We are seeking a versatile and hands-on Marketing Manager / Developer to spearhead the launch of a new e-commerce brand in the golf apparel space. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end development of the company's Shopify store, company website, and social media presence. You'll be responsible for building the brand from the ground up, including creating the digital infrastructure, marketing campaigns, and managing paid ads across platforms like Facebook and Instagram.

Responsibilities

• Web & E-Commerce Development
• Build a Shopify e-commerce store from scratch, including product pages, payment integration, navigation, and user flow
• Design and develop a polished and responsive website aligned with the brand identity
• Set up back-end integrations, shipping, email capture, and marketing tools (e.g., Klaviyo, Google Analytics)
• Social Media Setup & Management
• Create and optimise social media pages across Facebook and Instagram
• Develop a consistent brand voice and content plan across all channels
• Manage posting schedules and content calendars
• Monitor community interactions, comments, and DMs
• Digital Marketing & Ads
• Plan, launch, and optimise paid ad campaigns on Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
• A/B test creatives, audiences, and ad types to maximise ROI
• Monitor ad performance, report on KPIs, and adjust strategy accordingly
• Suggest strategies for retargeting, upselling, and customer acquisition

Requirements

• Proven experience building Shopify stores and websites from the ground up
• Strong understanding of e-commerce UX best practices and conversion principles
• Demonstrated success in managing paid social media advertising campaigns
• Experience with Facebook Business Manager, Ad Manager, and analytics tools
• Strong graphic and content design sense for both web and social
• Excellent written English and communication skills
• Able to self-manage timelines and projects with little oversight
• Based in the Philippines or available to support Australian time zone

Desirable

• Previous experience in fashion, sports, or lifestyle brands
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms like Klaviyo or Mailchimp
• Skills in SEO or blog writing
• Ability to create basic photo/video content (e.g., Canva, CapCut)
• Experience scaling a brand from launch to revenue
• Knowledge of influencer outreach or affiliate marketing

Software Proficiency

• E-Commerce: Shopify, Klaviyo (desirable), Google Analytics
• Web Development: Shopify themes, page builders (e.g., Shogun, GemPages), HTML/CSS basics
• Ads Management: Meta Ads Manager
• Design Tools: Canva, Photoshop or equivalent
• Social Scheduling: Meta Business Suite, Later, or similar
