Shopify SEO Specialist

The Role
We're looking for someone who can drive results, improve rankings, and oversee a small SEO team while working on exciting eCommerce projects.
Responsibility:
- Lead SEO strategy and implementation for Shopify-based eCommerce sites.
- Optimize product pages, collections, blogs, and site structure for SEO.
- Build and manage internal and external link strategies.
- Oversee content/article creation focused on organic search performance.
- Collaborate with content writers, developers, and marketing teams.
- Analyze performance and create reports with actionable insights.
- Mentor and guide a small team of SEO assistants or content contributors.
Ideal Profile
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience.
- Proven Shopify SEO experience (Shopify On-page, URL structure, canonical tags, etc.).
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices including technical SEO, keyword research, and backlink strategies.
- Experience in link building (outreach, guest posts, authority links).
- Ability to write and review SEO-friendly articles.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Leadership or team management experience is a big plus.
