Job Mandate

The role will be responsible in analyzing, organizing, and combining raw data from different sources, in building data models and visualizations on data requirements from the business. You will also be responsible for developing standards/strategies and ensuring project designs and implementations align with data architecture and data governance standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partners with business users, data engineers, and other stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions include dashboard and interactive reporting tools.
  • Develop, test, and maintain BI dashboards using approved BI tools.
  • Utilize UI/UX best practices to craft visualizations and present clear information about business results.
  • Responsible on training business users, junior members, and organization on the use of visualization tools
  • Provide and maintain user access, report connections, and troubleshooting required for dashboards.
  • Create technical documents such as solution design, program specifications, and other required documentation in the SDLC process.
  • Staying up to date with industry developments and trends and recommending and implementing new technologies and approaches to improve data engineering processes.
  • Ensures compliance with governance standards of the platform, security policies, and SDLC processes.
  • Perform Proof of Concept on new BI Tools and analytic solutions.
  • Contribute to best practices and standards for the data analytics and reporting team
  • Execute updates, patches, and other activities required to maintain and enhance the operations of the environment as needed.
  • Manage and ensure quality delivery of 3rd-party vendors where applicable.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree relevant to the job

Work Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in developing BI solutions preferably from a bank or financial institution.

Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack: PowerBI, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS
  • Experience using DAX, PowerQuery, and SQL
  • Experience in Data Modeling and Data Model normalization
  • Knowledge in data integration, warehousing, ETL, cloud data platforms
  • Strong data storytelling and visualization skills.
  • Strong communication skills
