Role

  • You are the 'go-to' person, providing clear direction/communication, coordinating production activities to ensure staff operate safely and meeting daily goals and agreed deadlines

  • Provide motivation, encourage feedback, learning and teamwork

  • Promote a culture of team involvement and problem-solving

  • Promote and recommend continuous improvements

  • Allocate jobs and priorities to meet changing daily deadlines

  • Provide feedback to Resource Centre Manger on performance issues, skill gaps & staff training

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure all staff comply with company policies and procedures

  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture

  • Set clear team goals

  • Delegate tasks and set timelines

  • Oversee day-to-day operation of the department/s

  • Monitor team performance and report on metrics

  • Discover training needs and provide coaching

  • Listen to team members' feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts in conjunction with Resource Centre Manager

  • Recognise high performance and reward accomplishments

  • Train staff to adhere with company standards and support on-going growth through regular coaching and feedback

  • Comply with Occupational Health & Safety guidelines with all company safety policies and practises. All safety training is to be conducted efficiently and effectively.

  • Update production database and/or CRM

  • Maintain high standards of attention to detail

  • Organising orientation and other training activities for employees

  • Increase productivity and staff efficiency

  • Complete Photoshop editing to standards and timelines

  • Complete colour correction to standards and timelines

  • Complete raw conversion to standards and timelines

  • Provide feedback to suppliers as required

  • Provide feedback to photographers as required

Other duties

Fulfill other duties as required by management

Job skills & qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor

  • Proven work experience as a team leader leading a team remotely

  • Proven work experience in colour management / correction

  • Proven work experience in adobe suites

  • Experience in timestone is an advantage but not essential

  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics

  • High attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Organisational and time-management skills

  • Decision-making skills

  • Performance management skills

  • Quality Management skills

  • Degree in Management or training in team leading is an advantage
