Community Planning and Project Management
Community interventions using art, culture, heritage, and creativity are implemented on-time, with high quality, and within budget.
- Leads in community needs analysis
- Intentionally integrates the use of art, culture, heritage, and creativity in addressing community concerns, especially livelihood, aligned with the Foundation's creative placemaking agenda in Makati (primarily Circuit Makati)
- Implements planned interventions, including creative placemaking business grants and business bootcamps, development of cultural heritage experiences, arts apprenticeship workshops, and technical advice to Makati City's Museum and Cultural Affairs Office.
- Ensures adherence to the Foundation's program implementation processes related to financial management, procurement, among others
- Manages implementers of interventions, from volunteers to paid institutions and partners
- Develops and implements plan to ensure program responsiveness in the face of disruptions to operations
Partnership Development, Stakeholder Management, and Relationship Management
Robust relationship with Makati ComDev stakeholders initiated and nurtured.
- Regularly aligns Makati ComDev to overall Foundation purpose, directions, strategies, and goals
- Initiates, pursues, and/or maintains partnerships for funding and other resources
- Identifies and pursues opportunities for program innovation, growth, and expansion
- Leads preparation of all necessary documents (ex. MOU/MOA, etc.) and signing with partners/LGUs
- Updates presentation and preparation of advocacy materials to stakeholders
- Ensures that the Foundation remains an accredited NGO in Makati City
- Acts as alternate representative to Local Special Bodies of the Makati City LGU
- Secures stakeholder buy-in for all plans and activities
- Liaises with Ayala Land, Contempo team, and other relevant members of the Ayala Group of Companies (AGC) to ensure alignment with AGC goals and objectives
Documentation, Measurement, and Evaluation
Makati ComDev program events and activities are well-documented for monitoring, reporting, evaluation, learning, and as an accountability to stakeholders.
- Drafts and updates documentation for regular reporting cycles (ex. quarterly, mid-year, annual, and as needed)
- Collaborates with the Strategy and Impact Division of the Foundation on requirements for quality implementation of Makati ComDev program components
- Liaises with the Communications team on Makati ComDev for the facilitation of Makati ComDev program communications needs
- Prepare post-activity reports and financial reports immediately after events/activities
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least a Bachelor's Degree in Community Development, Social Work, Public Administration, Sociology, Art Management, Anthropology, History, Public Administration, Development Communication, Education, Psychology or related courses
- At least five years of work experience in the social development field
- Experience in programs related to arts and culture for community development
- Experience in project management
- Experience in working with NGO, CSO, and/or LGU organizations, and preferably in urban lower income communities
- Willing to travel / work in a highly urbanized setting and periodic engagements in urban poor settings
- Weekend and holiday work as needed
- Can work with minimal supervision and with tight deadlines
