Istana Development Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and technically competent Project Development Manager to lead and oversee the planning, execution, construction monitoring, and overall development of its projects.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Civil Engineer with strong experience in construction management and real estate development, possessing in-depth knowledge of quantity surveying, costing, scheduling, and project coordination. This role requires excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills to ensure that projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with company objectives.

The Project Development Manager will coordinate closely with contractors, consultants, and internal teams, provide timely updates and recommendations to management, and ensure operational excellence throughout all project phases. Willingness to be assigned to out-of-town project sites is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and manage construction and development projects from conception to completion.

Review project plans in detail, including scope, schedules, deliverables, and cost estimates.

Oversee all onsite and offsite construction activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Coordinate and direct contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and site personnel.

Develop and implement construction methodologies, work plans, schedules, and budgets.

Monitor project progress, milestones, schedules, and costs against approved plans and budgets.

Identify, analyze, and mitigate technical, operational, and construction-related risks.

Ensure adherence to quality construction standards and proper construction techniques.

Plan and manage project resources effectively across all trades and disciplines.

10.   Integrate construction activities across all areas to ensure seamless project execution.

11.   Conduct regular coordination meetings with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.

12.   Provide technical guidance and support to site teams regarding construction-related concerns.

13.   Prepare and submit accurate construction reports, progress updates, and documentation as required.

14.   Ensure proper documentation, recording, and safekeeping of all project records for future reference.

15.   Communicate relevant data, reports, and updates to management and concerned parties.

Perform other related duties as may be assigned by management, consistent with the purpose of the role.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

· Licensed Civil Engineer (strict requirement).

· At least 5 years of relevant experience in project development, construction management, or engineering roles with reputable construction or real estate development companies.

· Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, costing, quantity surveying, and project scheduling.

· Proven competence in project monitoring, site supervision, and contractor management.

· Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.

· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

· Ability to provide management with timely insights, updates, and recommendations.

· Versatile, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

· Willing to be assigned to out-of-town project sites.

· Team-oriented, goal-driven, reliable, and results-focused.

· Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD, Familiarity with MS Project, or construction management software is an advantage.

· Strong time management and organizational skills.
