Qualifications & experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in SCADA system design, implementation, and support, preferably in the power or energy sector.
  • Graduate of any related course with credits to Electrical, Electronics, Communications and/or Automation. Preferably graduates of ECE or EE .
  • Knowledgeable on SCADA platforms and theories
  • Strong communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in utility-scale (ground-base, floating, large-scale rooftop ) solar design Experience in using solar design software (Ex. Pvsyst , Helios , Pvdesign etc.) is Preferred

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Creating technical documentation 1. Pre-bid requirements and; 2. Final Engineering Design prior implementation. ( e.g. system architecture, engineering drawings, cable schedule, bill of materials, scope of works, etc.) needed for the projects
  • Independently work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, and defined plans to perform assembly, modifications, testing, checkout, and trouble-shooting functions
  • Do field works as required which may cover site surveying, cable laying, panel installations, termination, testing, commissioning and trainings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop project plans, and assist in SCADA projects within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
