The Role

We are seeking a SCADA Support Engineer to join our Systems Integration team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced automation engineer who is detail-focused, service-oriented, and motivated to work on cutting-edge AVEVA (Wonderware) and Ignition SCADA projects.

This is a full-time, permanent position within our highly skilled Systems Integration team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote technical support for AVEVA (Wonderware) System Platform and Ignition SCADA applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve software issues, perform system modifications, and manage updates.
  • Track, manage, and close support tickets within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain accurate service records, reports, and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Collaborate with Australian engineers to ensure smooth delivery of support services.
  • Assist with documentation, job plans, and recommendations for system improvements.
  • Keep detailed progress records, including work logs, materials used, and system updates.
  • Attend technical meetings and contribute to project reviews.
  • Support continuous improvement, safety, and compliance initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to Work Health and Safety (WHS), ISO standards, and company policies.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Computer Systems, or Industrial Automation (Electrical, Mechatronics, or Software Engineering preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in industrial automation or MES/SCADA support roles.
  • Hands-on experience with AVEVA (Wonderware) System Platform and Ignition strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with PLC/SCADA systems (Schneider, Siemens, Rockwell, or similar).
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for remote collaboration.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting service response targets.
