Qualifications:

  • college Graduate; additional training in sales or firearms is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in firearms or sporting goods.
  • Knowledge of firearm types, ammunition, and accessories.
  • Strong understanding of firearm safety rules and legal compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must possess all necessary licenses or permits to sell firearms (as required by law).
  • Provide accurate information on product features, specifications, and safe handling practices.
  • Ensure all firearms transactions comply with local, state, and national regulations, including proper documentation and background check procedures.
  • Demonstrate safe handling, storage, and operation of firearms for customers.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock replenishment.
  • Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and point-of-sale operations.
  • Keep the sales area clean, organized, and compliant with safety and display standards.
  • Stay updated on new firearm models, industry trends, and legal requirements.
  • Participate in sales promotions, product launches, and shooting range demonstrations (if applicable).
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
