Job description:

General Accountant is responsible for the accounting of all transactions, reportorial requirements – internal and external; supervision of Collection and accounts receivable; payroll management and process; responsible for the accounting of fixed assets and inventories and accountable forms; and does other task and functions as may be assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collection and Accounts Receivable Officer
  • Maintains Revenue and AR working paper
  • Revenue posting and recording (every 5 and 20 of the month)
  • Maintains weekly collection report and recording accordingly.
  • Prepares and issue Statement of Accounts
  • Assists on weekly collections follow up (through email and Viber follow ups – with SOA issuance)
  • Prepares Monthly reports: AR Aging, Revenue reports
  • Reconciliation of revenue and collection – if necessary
  • Reconciliation of AR - past due accounts and its enforce collections
  • Coordination with billers and clients

10.Other task maybe assigned

  • Payroll Management and Processing
  • Prepares bi-monthly payroll for Malate, Pioneer and Makati branch;
  • Prepares bi-monthly payroll for management and office staff - and issuance of payslips
  • Manage Cash Advances working paper and coordination of CA approval to General manager.
  • Manage ATD and Damages working paper
  • Prepares Employee Last pay computations
  • Coordination with Admin staff and Timekeepers

Manages Fixed Assets and Inventories

  • Maintains updated, complete and accurate lapsing schedules of fixed assets
  • Conducts accurate physical count of company's assets (quarterly, yearly and as needed)
  • Reconciles physical count of property and equipment with records
  • Investigates and reports to Finance Manager any discrepancies in the reconciliation of physical count of fixed assets with accounting records
  • Ensures that tools and equipment under the custody of employees are covered by accountability sheets.
  • Prepares schedule of property and equipment
  • Job Posting and Hiring
  • Assist in job posting and hiring for production staff
  • Job posting and hiring for office staff
  • Prepares and Issue COE – Certificate of employment
  • Coordinates with admin for Employee Masterfile

  • SSS and HDMF Loans monitoring and reconciliation
  • BIR compliance and reporting – Monthly, Quarterly and Annual

  • VAT
  • Relief encoding (VAT, Expanded and others)
  • 2316 encoding and reporting (annual)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy
  • Must be highly analytical, hardworking, organized and keen on details.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines while maintaining high level of accuracy.
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Proficient in the usage of MS Office Applications and QuickBooks
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills'
  • Good leadership qualities
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Mandaluyong City

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
