Overview

The Client Engagement Partner/ SDR serves as the connective link between prospecting, client engagement, and long-term account success.

Working directly with the CEO and Head of Sales & Marketing, this role ensures the smooth flow of our sales process — from identifying potential carrier, MGA, and broker partners to nurturing relationships and supporting client retention.

You'll combine research precision, professional communication, and data organization skills to help Gardner Group grow and maintain its reputation for reliability and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Stage 1: Lead Generation & Qualification

  • Research and identify potential clients (Carriers, MGAs, Brokers) using online databases, insurance directories, and professional networks.
  • Qualify leads based on target criteria such as geography, line of business, and inspection volume.
  • Input and maintain accurate lead records in shared databases (Excel or Google Sheets) in collaboration with the Head of Sales & Marketing.
  • Be creative in sourcing contact information, using multiple techniques to obtain valid emails and phone numbers.
  • Coordinate with the CEO for spot-check qualification before outreach.

Stage 2: Outreach & Engagement

  • Execute personalized outreach through email and phone communication to introduce Gardner Group's inspection services.
  • Warm up and nurture leads through educational touchpoints about our solutions (Field Inspections, Self-Inspections, and Phone Surveys).
  • Schedule qualified appointments and discovery calls with the CEO.
  • Ensure timely and professional follow-ups throughout the engagement process.

Stage 3: Conversion Support

  • Attend discovery or demo calls alongside the CEO — take detailed notes, capture key insights, and record next steps.
  • Send follow-up recaps, resources, and thank-you communications to prospects.
  • Assist in preparing and sending proposals, quotations, and invoices.
  • Maintain visibility and accountability across the pipeline until handoff or decision.

Stage 4: Pipeline Hygiene & Coordination

  • Keep shared databases and tracking sheets accurate, organized, and up to date.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Sales & Marketing to ensure consistent data management and reporting.
  • Prepare weekly or monthly pipeline summaries to support sales tracking and forecasting.

Stage 5: Retention & Aftersales

  • Conduct post-sale check-ins to ensure client satisfaction and continuity.
  • Support retention initiatives such as referral follow-ups, renewals, and upsell opportunities.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 2–4 years of experience in B2B sales support, lead generation, or client coordination — preferably within insurance, risk inspection, or professional services.
  • Proven success working in a remote or offshore environment supporting U.S.-based clients.
  • Experienced in using LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospecting, lead generation, and client outreach.
  • Maintains an active LinkedIn account for professional networking and business development activities.

Skills

  • Proficiency in database management (Excel or Google Sheets).
  • Strong ability to manage email correspondence and phone communication with professionalism and clarity.
  • Creative in sales and lead enrichment — able to find innovative ways to gather contact information and research prospects.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable in maintaining structured data and follow-up systems.
  • Experience preparing proposals, scheduling meetings, and managing multi-step communications.
