Position Overview The Accounting Staff (A/R) is responsible for managing and monitoring customer accounts, processing invoices, recording collections, and ensuring timely and accurate posting of receivables. The role supports the Accounting Department in maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with reconciliation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and issue sales invoices, billing statements, and official receipts.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Record and post payments received (cash, checks, online transfers) into the accounting system.
  • Follow up on overdue accounts and coordinate with Sales, Operations, or clients regarding outstanding balances.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and address discrepancies or disputes.
  • Maintain updated A/R aging reports and collection schedules.
  • Assist in preparing monthly A/R reports for management.
  • Process and record credit memos, adjustments, and other A/R-related transactions.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of all A/R records.
  • Coordinate with Accounting Supervisor for month-end closing tasks.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements by providing necessary documents.
  • Perform other accounting or administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • Experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial record-keeping.
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with accounting software is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
