About the role

Onwards and Upwards Concepts' is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join our team in Ortigas Pasig City Metro Manila. As a full-time Finance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the company's financial reporting, compliance, and strategic decision-making.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Preparing and releasing payments to suppliers
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
  • Providing financial analysis and recommendations to support the company's strategic planning and decision-making
  • Participating in the budgeting and forecasting process to ensure financial targets are met
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing effective financial controls

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the Accounting industry
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, regulations, and reporting standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data
  • Proficient in using financial software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Excel, QuickBooks)
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and timely financial records
