art-Time Accountant (On-Site: 1–2x/Month)

We are looking for a part-time accountant to support our financial operations on a flexible basis. The ideal candidate will assist with monthly filings, respond to accounting-related queries, and ensure our records and submissions remain compliant with regulatory requirements. This is an ideal role for an experienced accountant seeking flexible, low-frequency engagement while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and maintain books of accounts, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of tax and government forms with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), ensuring compliance and timeliness.
  • Support electronic filing (e-filing) processes and ensure the accuracy and security of submitted data.
  • Address and resolve accounting queries from the team.
  • Provide oversight and guidance on financial compliance and documentation.
  • Assist in the review and preparation of key financial reports such as AFS (Audited Financial Statements), ITR (Income Tax Returns), and other relevant submissions.
  • Visit the office once or twice per month, as needed, for review and oversight.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in accounting, particularly with BIR compliance and electronic filing.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Ability to work independently and provide sound financial guidance.
  • CPA preferred but not required.
  • Real Estate background is a plus.
