Schedule: Monday to Friday (anytime between 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM)

Salary: P500 - P600 per hour (4 hours a day)

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (AR):

- Generate and send customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

- Track and record customer payments.

- Manage accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due invoices.

- Reconcile AR sub-ledger to the general ledger.

Accounts Payable (AP):

- Process vendor invoices and ensure proper coding and approvals.

- Manage vendor payments and maintain vendor records.

- Reconcile AP sub-ledger to the general ledger.

Cash Management:

- Perform daily and monthly cash reconciliations across all bank accounts.

- Monitor cash balances and report any discrepancies.

Accounting Schedules:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date account schedules, including but not limited to:

- Deferred Revenue

- Prepaid Expenses

- Fixed Assets and Depreciation

- Accrued Liabilities

Monthly Close:

- Prepare all necessary accounting data and schedules for the monthly financial close process.

- Ensure all data is complete and accurate to facilitate a timely close within 10 business days of month-end.

- Assist the Fractional CFO with the preparation of monthly financial statements.

Payroll:

- Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time.

- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.

- Process commissions payments as they become due.

Tax Compliance:

- Prepare and submit all required federal and state income tax returns.

- Prepare and submit all required federal and state sales tax returns.

- Stay up-to-date on relevant tax laws and regulations.

Other Duties:

- Assist with other accounting projects and tasks as needed.

- Provide support for audits and tax preparations.

- Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent business-related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years US end to end accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Experience with Xero.
  • Experience in Gusto (Payroll)
  • CPA is a plus.
  • High degree of accuracy and strict attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
