JOB OVERVIEW:
The Procurement/Purchasing Intern will provide support to the Procurement Department in sourcing, vendor coordination, purchasing activities, and administrative tasks. The role offers hands-on exposure to procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory monitoring, making it ideal for students or fresh graduates seeking experience in supply chain and purchasing operations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Purchasing Support
- Assist in preparing Request for Quotations (RFQs), purchase orders, and supplier comparisons.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Support in evaluating suppliers based on price, quality, and service.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain and organize procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases.
- Assist in monitoring purchase requisitions and updating procurement trackers.
- Prepare reports and summaries for ongoing and completed purchases.
Vendor & Inventory Coordination
- Support in vendor onboarding and maintaining supplier information.
- Help track deliveries, ensuring timely receipt of goods and services.
- Coordinate with the warehouse/operations team for stock monitoring and reconciliation.
Administrative & Compliance Support
- Ensure all procurement activities follow company policies and compliance requirements.
- Assist in preparing bidding documents, proposals, and supplier evaluation forms.
- Perform general administrative tasks for the department.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Strong interest in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with procurement or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Good communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to commit to the required internship hours set by school/company.
- Willing to take the internship in Pasay City
