JOB OVERVIEW:

The Procurement/Purchasing Intern will provide support to the Procurement Department in sourcing, vendor coordination, purchasing activities, and administrative tasks. The role offers hands-on exposure to procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory monitoring, making it ideal for students or fresh graduates seeking experience in supply chain and purchasing operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Purchasing Support

  • Assist in preparing Request for Quotations (RFQs), purchase orders, and supplier comparisons.
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Support in evaluating suppliers based on price, quality, and service.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain and organize procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases.
  • Assist in monitoring purchase requisitions and updating procurement trackers.
  • Prepare reports and summaries for ongoing and completed purchases.

Vendor & Inventory Coordination

  • Support in vendor onboarding and maintaining supplier information.
  • Help track deliveries, ensuring timely receipt of goods and services.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse/operations team for stock monitoring and reconciliation.

Administrative & Compliance Support

  • Ensure all procurement activities follow company policies and compliance requirements.
  • Assist in preparing bidding documents, proposals, and supplier evaluation forms.
  • Perform general administrative tasks for the department.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong interest in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with procurement or ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to commit to the required internship hours set by school/company.
  • Willing to take the internship in Pasay City
