To assist the Finance Manager in managing the Shared Services team that will handle the convention group to meet the team's KPIs.
Key functions are guided by the following principles: Creating and developing a work environment where each business unit manages by Financial Objective focused in establishing an aggressive Sales Culture, a strong Customer Service (internal and external), astute practice of Expense Management, resulting to Financial Success by example.
- Performs month-end closing activities to ensure generation of accurate trial balance for several operating properties of SMX and SCSC. This includes but not limited to preparation of schedule and journal entries for the allocation of shared services costs (payroll, IT, advertising, SMHCC fees, etc.), accruals, prepayment amortization, interest, depreciation, provisions and other adjusting entries.
- Prepares and submits monthly balance sheet accounts analyses/reconciliation (including bank accounts, clearing accounts, fixed assets, intercompany, deposits, prepayments, and accrued accounts).
- Resolves of balance sheet accounts reconciling items on a timely manner.
- Prepares and reconciles Consopack (consolidated packages; statutory vs management reports).
- Prepares and submits statutory reports to BIR and SEC.
- Prepares schedules as required by External Audit and BIR.
- Assists the Finance Manager in the implementation of process efficiency improvement.
- Preparation of reports related to general ledger maintenance as instructed by the superiors.
