Saigon Coffee Ph is looking for a Full Time Barista/Sr. Barista to be assigned in our store in Cloverleaf Mall, Quezon City.

About the role:

We are looking for an energetic and open-minded personality, a very adaptable and passionate individual. Able to work well with a group and can handle operations needs very well, especially during peak periods. The core function of the Barista/Sr. Barista is to greet customers, build a connect, accurately note the customers orders, prepare and fulfill customers' orders by consistently applying barista skills, following barista checklists, and delivering standard quality and legendary customer service. Our Barista acts as our Brand Ambassador and an ideal candidate must embody our Core Values of Initiative, Maturity, Integrity, and Passion.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum High School Graduate and willing to submit to background check
• Minimum of 2 years working as a barista/cashier in a restaurant or café. Freshers without experience may also apply, however must be college graduates
• Can work full time, a minimum of 9 hrs/day (including 1 hour meal break), and 6 days a week. Also open to flexible shifts with 10 hrs/day or 11 hrs/day and a reduced work week. To be discussed during the interview
• Must be willing to be assigned at Ayalamalls Cloverleaf, Quezon City, and either located within 45 mins commute or planning to relocate prior to joining
• Must be fluent in English
• Must be willing to join on or before 01-Dec-2025
• Must be willing to work in shifts that may change through the week, or month

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, F&B or similar fields is preferred
• Candidates with existing Barista training certifications are preferred, especially those with awards or distinctions in the coffee industry
• Proven and strong knowledge and skills in coffee roasting, various coffee preparation including expresso extraction, latte art, among others
• Proven knowledge and skills in coffee equipment installation, use and maintenance
• Experience with working with POS systems

Job Type: Full-time, 6 days a week in shifts

Pay Range: Minimum of Php17,000 to Maximum of Php 21,000 per month including mandatory government contributions

Work Location: In person – Ayalamalls Cloverleaf, Quezon City

Job Profile:

• Attract customers through active display of professionalism, courtesy and desire to serve while working at the café store
• Preparing foods, such as sandwiches or baked goods, and grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to customers
• Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments
• Respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally
• Ensure food and beverage orders taken are complete and correct
• Ensure that food and beverage ordered by guest are prepared accurately to the recipe, and delivered on time to the customer
• Responsible for the cleanliness and completeness of table set up following the company standards
• Cleaning and re-stocking of the store, including disposal of garbage and drain water collected in line with mall procedures
• Adheres company code of conduct
• Gives equal respect to his/her superiors and fellow employees
• Performs other related duties and function assigned by his/her superior
• Must have a pleasing personality and interact well with customers
• Provide a prompt, courteous, and excellent service to all guests at all times.
• Ensure accurate tracking of stocks and inventory to report to the store manager
• Has good communication and customer service skills
• Double up as cashier or barista as required
• Various other duties as directed by the store manager
