About the Client:

The client is a growing retail business that operates a sporting goods store and a convenience store with hardware and gas services. Leadership is seeking to delegate operational tasks in order to focus on strategic growth. They are looking for a highly capable, detail-oriented, and trustworthy professional with a long-term growth mindset.

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable Part-Time Retail & Marketing Support to provide operations and administrative support across multiple retail businesses. This role will include managing back-office functions, digital marketing, scheduling, and website upkeep. The ideal candidate will be proactive, fluent in English with minimal accent, and able to take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative and Back-Office Support

  • Manage and organize incoming emails, filtering out non-essential correspondence.
  • Perform general administrative and back-office tasks.
  • Maintain and update the company website.
  • Assist in creating and documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Manage daily check-ins and accountability tracking (AI tools may be used).
  • Handle all tasks with confidentiality and integrity.
Marketing and Communication
  • Execute digital and social media marketing campaigns for both retail entities.
  • Manage email and SMS marketing efforts.
  • Support marketing strategies to drive engagement and customer visits.
Scheduling and Management
  • Maintain and update schedules for classes and services on the sporting goods side (e.g., safety training).
  • Coordinate availability and communicate updates to both customers and management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Prior experience or strong understanding of retail, sporting goods, or convenience store industries (preferred).
  • Excellent English fluency (verbal and written) with minimal accent.
  • Proficiency with digital tools and willingness to adopt AI-driven solutions.
  • Reliable home-office setup with stable internet, power backup, and required hardware.
  • Highly trustworthy, proactive, and capable of working independently.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Spanish skills are a plus but not required.
