Job Summary:

We are looking for a Cadet Engineer to join our plant operations and maintenance team. The Cadet Engineer will be trained in various aspects of plant maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and production support to prepare for future leadership roles in engineering and operations.


Qualifications:
  • A graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other related courses
  • Preferably with at least 2 years of related work experience in plant maintenance or production engineering
  • With foundational knowledge in industrial motor control, machine repair, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, technical drawings (AutoCAD) is an advantage
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules and in on-site plant locations

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the daily monitoring, repair, and maintenance of plant machinery and equipment
  • Support the execution of preventive maintenance programs under the supervision of senior engineers
  • Learn and apply plant safety protocols, equipment operation procedures, and maintenance best practices
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting and escalate critical equipment issues to appropriate teams
  • Participate in the preparation of maintenance reports and documentation
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure operational efficiency and minimal downtime
  • Take part in training and development sessions to enhance technical and leadership competencies
