Role Description

We are currently looking for a Remote PHP Developer to join our team. This role is suited to a self-motivated developer with strong back-end skills and a solid understanding of both OOP and front-end development. You will be working on the core software that powers our bridging loan platform, contributing to its development and continuous improvement.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient PHP code
  • Collaborating on system architecture and design
  • Handling both back-end and front-end tasks
  • Contributing to software development lifecycle and project delivery
  • Troubleshooting and resolving bugs
  • Working independently and managing your own time effectively in a remote environment

Qualifications

  • English proficiency and previous experience working with English Speaking companies is preferred
  • Access to high speed internet
  • Proven experience in PHP development
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
  • Experience in PHP (custom MVC), Javascript with Jquery, Twig, MySQL, AWS, IIS, CSS and SCSS
  • Experience in both back-end and front-end development
  • Solid problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a remote setting
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
