Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Android mobile applications using Kotlin and build cross-platform features with React Native.
  • Engineer scalable backend solutions using PHP Laravel to support mobile and web functionality.
  • Architect, implement, and manage data storage using relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Proactively integrate security protocols across both backend APIs and mobile applications.
  • Tune applications for speed, efficiency, and stability across devices and platforms.
  • Partner with designers, product owners, and QA teams to deliver seamless and intuitive user experiences.
  • Lead code quality initiatives through regular reviews and provide guidance to junior engineers.
  • Set up and manage CI/CD workflows to streamline app releases and backend deployments.
  • Investigate and resolve live system issues, identifying root causes and implementing long-term fixes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of development experience with expertise in both mobile and backend technologies.
  • Advanced Kotlin skills with proven experience in native Android development.
  • Strong track record in building APIs and backend services using PHP Laravel.
  • Hands-on experience delivering React Native applications to both iOS and Android platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of relational database systems, with experience designing schemas and queries (MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Solid understanding of API integration patterns and best practices for mobile connectivity.
  • Proficiency in Git-based workflows and source code management.
  • Experience working within Agile or Scrum environments.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with a focus on software quality.
  • Effective communicator with a collaborative and mentoring mindset.
