Job Summary

LMS Specialist will be instrumental in setting up, managing, and optimizing the organization's Learning Management System. The role will support the development, delivery, and tracking of learning programs across the organization, ensuring a seamless and effective learner experience.

The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting learning and development through technology.


Key Responsibilities

LMS Administration & Configuration

  • Set up and configure the LMS platform based on organizational learning needs and user roles.
  • Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, and system security.
  • Ensure accurate upload, organization, and maintenance of learning content (e.g., courses, modules, assessments).
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate with IT or vendors when needed.

Learning Content & Course Management

  • Work with L&D or business units to upload, assign, and track training programs (both internal and external).
  • Support content integration and testing.
  • Assist in developing learning paths and certification programs using the LMS.

Reporting & Data Management

  • Generate training completion reports and learner analytics for stakeholders and compliance tracking.
  • Maintain learning records and ensure data accuracy and privacy in accordance with organizational policies.

User Support & Training

  • Provide frontline support to learners and administrators on LMS usage and issue resolution.
  • Develop user guides, FAQs, and provide LMS onboarding/training to new users.
  • Conduct periodic system training for content creators and department-level admins.

Continuous Improvement & Optimization

  • Evaluate LMS features, suggest improvements, and participate in platform upgrades or integrations.
  • Stay updated on LMS trends, best practices, and e-learning technologies.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in education, Information Technology, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in LMS administration or e-learning coordination preferred.
  • Experience setting up and managing platforms such as Moodle, Cornerstone, SAP SuccessFactors, TalentLMS, or similar is a plus.
  • Exposure to learning design, digital learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Canva, Adobe Captivate), or instructional technology is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with web-based systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
