JOB SUMMARY:

The Safety Officer inspects site conditions and ensures a safe and healthy environment for all the workers assigned in the project.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Ensures that construction workers and staff are following established safety policy and procedure
  • Conducts site inspection to be aware of potential hazards in the workplace
  • Suggests policies that reduce the risk of accidents
  • Keeps up-to-date on latest safety regulations as directed by DOLE
  • Conducts Incident/ Accident investigations to identify the cause and recommend corrective measures
  • Ensures proper implementation of corrective actions
  • Suspends work where conditions are unsafe for the construction workers
  • Conducts Toolbox meeting and train workers on safety topics required by OSHA
  • Prepares reports related to Health, Safety, Security and Environment
  • Ensures that safety procedures are aligned with the quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the Immediate Supervisor

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree Holder
  • 1-2 years of experience in the same capacity
  • With background in construction industry
  • With related experience in implementation of safety policy and procedure
  • With COSH (Construction Occupational Safety and Health) TraininG
  • Completed forty (40)-hour OSH Training Course

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php16, Php19,000.00 per month
