The Credit Admin Associate (Collections) provides administrative and clerical support to the collections team by maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and ensuring all collection-related documentation is properly processed. This role focuses on back-office tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient loan collection operations without direct interaction with clients.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Documentation Support

  • Maintain and update records of loan listing
  • Prepare and organize collection reports for the collections team
  • Process and document payments received, ensuring proper reconciliation in the system
  • Assist in generating collection notices and reminders
  • Provide administrative support to field collectors and collection officers
  • Coordinate internally for document retrieval, processing, and filing

Data Management & Reporting

  • Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports on overdue accounts for management review
  • Coordinate with the finance and accounting teams to reconcile payment records
  • Organize account records for audit and reference purposes
  • Assist in preparing required documentation for legal proceedings or loan restructuring cases
  • Assist the Admission Team in identifying potential Repeat Loan borrowers

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Ability to process 40–50 payment update transactions daily
  • Capable of performing monthly extractions and updating loan balances of up to 2,000 accounts
  • At least one year of experience in loan processing, collections support, or administrative roles in financial services is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred but not required)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and loan management software
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
