About the role

As the Head Office Audit Officer at City Savings Bank, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the bank's operations adhere to regulatory standards and internal policies. This full-time position is based in Pasig City, Metro Manila, and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting comprehensive audits of the bank's head office departments and operations
  2. Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them
  3. Evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls and making recommendations for improvement
  4. Preparing detailed audit reports and presenting findings to senior management
  5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions
  6. Staying up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices
  7. Mentoring and training junior audit team members

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
  2. Strong understanding of banking regulations, internal control frameworks, and audit methodologies
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and recommend solutions
  4. Proficient in financial analysis, data mining, and report writing
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
  6. Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred
