As a
Senior Software Quality Assurance (SQA)
, your primary responsibility will be to

ensure the quality and reliability of software applications throughout the development

lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product

managers, and stakeholders, to define and implement effective QA strategies,

processes, and methodologies. You will be responsible for planning, designing, and

executing test cases, as well as analyzing and reporting on test results. Your expertise

will contribute to the continuous improvement of software development practices and the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

1. QA Strategy and Planning:

➢ Develop and implement QA strategies, methodologies, and best practices.

➢ Collaborate with stakeholders to define quality objectives and requirements.

➢ Create comprehensive test plans, including test scope, approach, and resources.

➢ Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.

2. Test Design and Execution:

➢ Design, develop, and execute test cases, scripts, and scenarios.

➢ Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.

➢ Automate test cases using appropriate tools and frameworks.

➢ Conduct exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects.

3. Defect Management and Reporting:

➢ Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking systems.

➢ Conduct root cause analysis and work with development teams to resolve issues.

➢ Provide clear and detailed reports on test execution progress and results.

➢ Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding quality issues and

resolutions.

4. Collaboration:

➢ Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders

to ensure alignment on quality objectives.

➢ Participate in code and design reviews to provide quality insights.

➢ Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the QA team and

the organization.

5. Process Improvement:

➢ Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose solutions.

➢ Continuously enhance QA methodologies, tools, and frameworks.

➢ Promote and implement test automation to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

➢ Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices

Qualifications

➢ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or

equivalent experience).

➢ Proven experience as a Senior QA Engineer or in a similar role.

➢ Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

➢ Experience in designing and implementing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

➢ Proficiency in test automation using frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.

➢ Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and continuous integration/continuous

delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

➢ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.

➢ Strong leadership and team management abilities.

➢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

➢ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
