Role Overview:

As a Senior SEO Specialist, you will take ownership of technical SEO implementation, on-page optimization, and backlink strategy development to improve organic search performance for a diverse portfolio of clients. This senior role requires in depth expertise in Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, and a proven history of ranking competitive keywords. Your ability to create, execute, and refine advanced SEO strategies will be instrumental in achieving measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical SEO and On-Page Optimization

  • Conduct thorough technical audits, addressing crawl errors, indexation, site speed, and schema markup issues.

  • Optimize on-page elements, including metadata, headings, internal linking, and keyword placement.

  • Ensure sites meet core web vitals and mobile-first indexing requirements.

  • Implement structured data and advanced site architecture to improve visibility and usability.

Backlink Strategy and Off-Page SEO

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive backlink acquisition strategy to build high authority, relevant links.

  • Conduct competitive backlink analysis to identify opportunities for outreach and partnerships.

  • Monitor and manage backlink profiles to ensure compliance with search engine guidelines.

  • Collaborate with the content team to create link-worthy assets that attract natural links.

Content Development and Reporting

  • Create content strategies that align with keyword and search intent insights, collaborating with writers to ensure high-quality output.

  • Provide regular performance reports, including organic growth metrics, keyword rankings, and actionable insights.

  • Present findings and recommendations to the client-facing team to ensure seamless communication of progress and strategies.

Strategic Leadership and Collaboration

  • Develop tailored SEO strategies for highly competitive industries and markets.

  • Stay ahead of algorithm changes, industry trends, and emerging tools to maintain cutting-edge practices.

  • Collaborate with account managers, designers, and developers to ensure cohesive execution of SEO campaigns.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of SEO experience, with a proven focus on technical SEO, on-page optimization, and backlink strategy.

  • Demonstrated success in ranking highly competitive keywords and achieving significant organic traffic growth.

  • Expertise in Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Google Search Console for data analysis and performance tracking.

  • Strong understanding of technical SEO elements such as core web vitals, mobile-first indexing, and advanced troubleshooting.

  • Experience in crafting and implementing link-building strategies that drive authority and rankings.

  • Proven ability to optimize on-page SEO, including metadata, content structures, and internal linking strategies.

  • Familiarity with leading SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Rankability.

  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and presentation skills, with experience reporting to clients or stakeholders.

  • Agency experience is highly preferred, with the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
