VirtueStaff is seeking an Experienced SEO Specialist to join our client's vibrant digital marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative SEO strategies that enhance our clients' online presence, drive organic traffic, and increase search engine rankings. Your expertise will be key in helping us achieve exceptional results and maintaining a competitive edge in the digital landscape.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute quarterly SEO roadmaps for e-commerce clients, with secondary focus on other client websites
  • Conduct extensive keyword research to identify relevant optimization opportunities
  • Implement comprehensive on-page and technical SEO strategies, including content optimization, and provide guidance on website architecture and design to ensure optimal SEO performance
  • Create SEO content outlines as needed, collaborating with content and marketing teams to produce SEO-driven content that engages users and drives conversions
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using tools such as SEMRush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Screaming Frog, to identify and diagnose SEO issues and opportunities
  • Generate detailed SEO performance reports, providing insights and recommendations that tie back to client goals and ROI
  • Perform competitor analysis to identify market gaps and opportunities
  • Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and best practices, particularly those relevant to e-commerce platforms like Shopify and BigCommerce
    • Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role in a digital marketing environment, with a strong focus on technical and on-page SEO
    • In-depth knowledge of SEO principles, techniques, and tools
    • Demonstrated experience with SEO tools including SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console
    • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify and BigCommerce, and content management systems (CMS) along with basic HTML/CSS
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable strategies, specifically for metric reporting
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of articulating complex SEO concepts and results
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
    • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
    • Up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in SEO
