Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a key role in driving Canon Marketing (Philippines), Inc.'s recruitment and talent strategies. This role ensures that the organization attracts, hires, and retains top talent by implementing efficient recruitment processes, building strong partnerships with hiring managers, and maintaining a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Strategy & Execution

  • Recommend and implement CMP's recruitment strategy, including sourcing channels, agency partnerships, job posting optimization, and recruitment trends.
  • Develop job postings, key requirements, and success metrics for each role in collaboration with hiring managers and the Sr. Manager, HR Transformation.
  • Maintain consistency and compliance across all recruitment stages: assessment, interviews, negotiation, offer, and onboarding.
  • Conduct 30, 60, and 90-day check-ins with hiring managers to ensure new hires are a good fit and integration is successful.

Talent Sourcing & Relationship Management

  • Identify and source external and internal candidates for approved roles while maintaining a proactive talent pipeline for future needs.
  • Manage relationships with third-party recruitment agencies and assessment centers, ensuring favorable contracts and proper budget monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Manager, Planning & Admin to prepare the annual recruitment headcount budget and monitor compliance.

Candidate & Hiring Manager Experience

  • Provide objective candidate evaluations and equip hiring managers with assessment insights.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Maintain an updated candidate database for current and future hiring requirements.

Process Improvement & Internal Mobility

  • Maintain and revise job profiles, coordinating with the Compensation & Benefits team for job evaluations.
  • Champion internal mobility and career pathing, working closely with HR Transformation.
  • Lead special recruitment programs such as Management Trainee and Student Internship programs.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to align on job requirements and recruitment goals.

Other Duties

  • Maintain organized candidate records and assist with ad hoc HR projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of recruitment experience in both agency and corporate settings.
  • Minimum 2 years in each environment (agency and corporate recruitment) is required.
  • Proven track record in end-to-end recruitment, stakeholder management, and strategic sourcing.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with ATS/recruitment tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
