About the role

As the Raw Material Specialist at Oleo-Fats Inc. (OFI), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of the company's raw materials. Reporting to the Design and Development Team, this full-time position is based in Bagumbayan, Quezon City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, testing, and monitoring of all raw materials used in the manufacturing process.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and implement robust quality control procedures for incoming raw materials
  2. Conduct thorough testing and analysis to verify that all raw materials meet the company's strict quality standards
  3. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality raw materials
  4. Maintain detailed records and documentation of all raw material testing and quality control activities
  5. Identify and recommend improvements to the raw material procurement and quality control processes
  6. Provide technical support and guidance to the production team to ensure optimal utilisation of raw materials
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices in raw material quality assurance

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Chemistry, Food Science, or Quality Assurance
  2. At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar raw material quality control role within the food or manufacturing industry
  3. Proficiency in conducting a wide range of analytical tests and using quality control equipment
  4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to identify and resolve raw material quality issues
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams
  6. Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and quality standards
  7. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation
