Budget and Investment Officer

Summary of Responsibilities and Authorities

The Treasury Specialist shall control, invest, monitor, analyze and report the balances and movement of PEAC's cash, cash equivalents and investments.

Detailed Responsibilities and Authorities

  • Ensure the availability of funds for the released checks and other planned disbursements;
  • Prepares check vouchers and checks;
  • Prepares bank reconciliation;
  • Oversees and implements the controls on check releasing;
  • Prepares and maintains check monitoring;
  • Maintains good relationship with banks to be informed of the services, changes, investment opportunities and features of the banks;
  • Assists in monitoring of money market placements and other investments;
  • Performs tasks assigned by the Budget and Investment Officer and the Finance Unit Head to meet requirements related to cash, cash equivalents, funds and investment managements.

Minimum Qualification (e.g., Education, Experience, Licensure)

  • Graduate of bachelor's degree in accountancy/banking/finance field; and
  • At least 1 year of meaningful experience in Treasury and Investment role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
