Job Summary

The Treasury Analyst will manage the disbursement processes and monitor all accounts payable. This position involves meticulous preparation of checks for both trade (suppliers, vendors) and non-trade (utilities, rent, taxes) payables, ensuring all payments are accurate, properly authorized, and processed on schedule. The analyst will also play a key role in daily cash flow monitoring and bank relationship management to support the operational needs of the entire corporation.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Key Accountabilities

Accounts Payable & Disbursement Management

  • Prepare and process checks, bank transfers, and other payment methods for all trade and non-trade payables.
  • Verify payment requests, ensuring completeness of supporting documents (invoices, purchase orders, delivery receipts) and proper authorization according to company policy.
  • Monitor accounts payable aging to ensure timely settlement of obligations and take advantage of any early payment discounts.
  • Coordinate with the procurement and accounting departments to resolve any discrepancies in invoices or payment details.
  • Manage and maintain an organized filing system for all payment vouchers and supporting documents.

Cash Flow & Bank Management

  • Assist the Treasury Supervisor in completing the daily cash position reports, particularly on the cash outflows from all business units (café and retail stores, institutional sales, commissary, and other business units).
  • Assist the Treasury Supervisor in the forecasting of the daily cash requirements to ensure sufficient funds are available for operational needs and payments.
  • Facilitate bank transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and fund transfers.
  • Assist in maintaining relationships with banking partners and resolving any transactional issues.
  • Supports in performing the regular reconciliation between cash position and bank balances to ensure the accuracy of financial records.

Reporting and Compliance

  • generate regular reports related to disbursements, cash position, and accounts payable status for management review
  • ensure all treasury activities comply with internal financial policies and external regulations
  • assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to cash and banks transactions

B. Key Performance Indicators

  • Payment Accuracy Rate: 99.8% accuracy in check and payment processing
  • On-Time Payment Percentage: Depending on cash availability and order of priority, target: 90% of all payables settled on or before the due date
  • Processing Cycle Time: Unless urgent, target: average of 2-3 business days to process a payment request from receipt of complete documents to check release

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College graduate with a degree in banking and finance, accounting or any business-related course
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience, particularly in treasury or banking operations
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications
  • Analytical, with quick response and attention to details abilities, able to handle confidential and sensitive information
