Job Summary:

The Purchasing Assistant supports the Purchasing Department in sourcing suppliers, processing purchase requirements, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. The role includes coordinating with vendors, preparing documentation, and providing administrative support to maintain efficient procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing, evaluating, and qualifying suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
  • Request, review, and compare price quotations from various vendors.
  • Prepare, process, and monitor purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
  • Assist in vendor accreditation, ensuring compliance with required documentation and regulations.
  • Maintain organized procurement records and provide administrative and clerical support to the Purchasing Department.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure procurement requirements are met.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Teams, Outlook, and other MS Office applications.
  • Willing to be assigned in Makati (7AM–4PM schedule).
  • Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in procurement and purchasing, preferably involving construction materials.
