About the roleLIFEBANK-A RURAL BANK is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join our team in Santa Barbara Iloilo. As CIO, you will be responsible for leading the strategic development and implementation of the bank's information technology initiatives, aligning IT with the overall business objectives. This is a full-time position that will have a crucial impact on the organisation's operations and growth.What you'll be doing

Develop and execute the IT strategy to support the bank's business goals and drive digital transformation

Oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of robust and secure IT systems and infrastructure

Manage the IT department, including budgeting, resource planning and performance management of the team

Analyse business requirements and identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve efficiency and productivity

Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and security standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address IT-related challenges

Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation

Provide strategic IT leadership and act as a trusted advisor to the executive management team

What we're looking for

Minimum 8 years of experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry

Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management and compliance in the financial sector

Proven track record of successfully leading the design, implementation and management of large-scale IT systems and infrastructure

Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Demonstrated experience in driving digital transformation and leveraging emerging technologies to improve business outcomes

Proactive, strategic thinker with a keen interest in staying up-to-date with industry trends and innovations
