About the Role

We're looking for an
Application Security Subject Matter Expert (SME)
to lead and strengthen the security posture of SaaS and digital-facing applications. The role focuses on
DevSecOps integration
,
vulnerability management
, and
API security controls
, working closely with development and DevOps teams to embed security best practices across the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead
    Vulnerability Assessment (VA)
    and
    Penetration Testing (PT)
    for applications and APIs.
  • Manage and integrate
    AppSec tools
    — SonarQube, Trivy, Nexus — within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement
    API security controls
    and container security on
    Red Hat OpenShift (RHOCP)
    .
  • Define and govern the
    AppSec program
    using the RACI model.
  • Conduct
    code reviews, threat modeling,
    and manage the
    vulnerability lifecycle
    .
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to enforce
    secure coding practices
    and
    automation of security gates
    .
  • Stay updated on emerging
    application security threats
    and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years
    of experience in Application Security / DevSecOps.
  • Expertise in
    Nexus, SonarQube, Trivy, RHOCP
    , and API security.
  • Strong knowledge of
    OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25
    , and secure SDLC practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred Certifications:
    DevSecOps or VAPT-related certifications.
