We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our finance team remotely. As a key member of our Singapore-based co-investment platform, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, compliance, and supporting the company's strategic finance initiatives across multiple entities and investment structures. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners in both the Philippines and Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and relevant international standards (IFRS).
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory and tax filings.
  • Maintain compliance with both Singapore and Philippine accounting and taxation requirements, where applicable.
  • Oversee general ledger activities, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and payroll accounting.
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
  • Liaise with external accountants/auditors for annual audits and tax returns.
  • Assist with the preparation and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.
  • Provide strategic insights to support investment decisions and corporate planning.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls, accounting systems, and procedures.
  • Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies, process inefficiencies, and financial risks.
  • Reconcile investment transactions and maintain fund accounting records.
  • Prepare investor capital statements and reporting packages.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • CPA license (Philippines) required; additional certifications (e.g., CMA, CFA) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in financial services, fintech, or investment platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore tax laws, SFRS/IFRS, and experience working with Singapore-based companies is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with remote/cloud-based accounting tools (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Netsuite, or equivalent).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced financial modeling skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment.
