Power Center (PC) is mid-office application which Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) utilizes to process customer travel bookings. Power Center is a highly customizable application which allows CWT to automate functions of the bookings throughout the booking lifecycle.

The System Analyst will be responsible for developing, supporting and maintaining a component that manages the workflow through the travel booking lifecycle, referred to as ResEdits. As part of the Business Platform team, the System Analyst will also collaborate with a larger global team.

As an ideal candidate you must be a self-motivated, team player with a passion to satisfy the customer in a fast-paced, agile environment. In addition, you must have proven travel industry knowledge with a solid emphasis in understanding the booking lifecycle with a passion in problem solving and abstract thinking. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule due collaboration with a globally distributed team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops new ResEdit rules with an emphasis on design/implementation to meet technical and business requirements and ensure maintainability
  • Performs all aspects of ResEdit development including analysis, design, development, testing, and maintenance
  • Plans and executes testing with emphasis on automation to aid in Continuous Integration and Deployment efforts
  • Provides technical input and assistance to internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborates well within a diverse, geographically distributed, multicultural environment
  • Become a productive member of a high-performing agile team
